Hungry cats are good for business
It all started back in 2001—a partnership triggered by cat food. Bench
and Field came to LOGAN Industries for help. The company needed our services to
fill jugs of cat food, and then package them. At that time, it was an assignment that kept a group of 20 clients busy
every day. Five years later, the project changed from cat food to holistic cat
treats, which LI continues to label, package, shrink and box today.
With Trader Joes as Bench and Field’s major customer, demand has grown and so
has the amount of work for LOGAN industries. Currently, LI completes between
35,000-40,000 bottles of cat treats each month to be shipped across the country. The great
thing is that as the orders increase, so does the number of LI clients needed
to complete them. Every day, 30 clients now work on Bench and Field orders,
with as many as 70 working during peak demand.
Thirteen years after first connecting, Bench and Field is one of LOGAN Industries’
most loyal customers. President Mark Bennett values this partnership: “We feel
